Beekbergen World Championship 2025

The World Driving Championships for Pairs in Beekbergen was a week filled with excitement, sport, and atmosphere. From August 20 to 24, the Riant Equestrian Centre became the vibrant heart of the driving sport. Among the stately trees and enthusiastic crowds, the world’s best drivers demonstrated what precision, power, and teamwork truly mean.

The water obstacle as a showpiece

For many years, we have been responsible for the decorative styling of the VIP tent and several spectacular obstacles — including the iconic water obstacle. Each year, we adapt the concept to match the event’s theme: one year orange, another Ibiza-inspired, and this year fresh in purple, white, and green. The water obstacle is always the eye-catcher of the marathon. This year, it was adorned with tall pots filled with purple gladioli, complemented by elegant grasses in white and green — the colours of the international equestrian federation FEI, and therefore perfectly suited to this World Championship edition.

Not only outside, but also inside the VIP tent there was plenty to enjoy. Naturally, greenery and flowers played an important role. As every year, the organisers had specific wishes for the overall look — this time featuring the FEI colours. Large olive trees and Metrosideros in purple planters helped break up the height of the tent and added a touch of extra atmosphere. On the tables stood vases in various shapes, each holding a single flower variety, together creating a playful yet elegant composition. The purple planters with grasses and fig trees brought an additional layer of greenery to the space.

It was five days in which horse and driver became one, and Beekbergen once again proved why it is considered one of the most beautiful competition venues in the world.
