TEFAF New York 2023

With its reputation as the world’s most prestigious and vibrant art market, New York City provides an unparalleled setting for the annual TEFAF fair outside Maastricht. As an internationally recognized event in its ninth edition, TEFAF New York promises to be a spectacular experience at the Park Avenue Armory. Known for its grandeur and architectural splendor, this historic Manhattan location serves as the perfect backdrop for art dealers displaying their most notable works.

Just like in Maastricht, we have proudly taken on the task of taking care of the floral decorations at the fair. Along the staircases and in the beautiful courtyards, the same enchanting iron frames with glass tubes filled with flowers, as we did last year, adorn. But this year we have chosen to use mixed Dendrobium orchids, instead of the botanical tulips from Dutch soil. This choice is sure to create a wow effect and mesmerize the visitors. In addition, the aisles are decorated with a colorful mix of seasonal flowers, while in the restaurant the peonies, true beauties of the month of May/June, will demand all the attention.

Preparing for TEFAF NY is a challenging task that takes considerably less time compared to TEFAF Maastricht. Sometimes we only have a few weeks to get everything ready. Fortunately, most materials can remain in our own warehouse in New York. The flowers are specially flown in from the Netherlands and arrive already cleaned, making them faster and easier to process. The non-living decoration materials are in turn transported by boat, so that everything can be in place in time.
