TEFAF New York 2024

With its global reputation as the most prestigious and vibrant art market, New York City offers an unparalleled setting for the annual TEFAF fair outside Maastricht. As an internationally recognized event celebrating its tenth edition, TEFAF New York promises to be an extraordinary experience at the Park Avenue Armory. This historic location in Manhattan, renowned for its grandeur and architectural splendor, provides the perfect backdrop for art dealers to showcase their most remarkable works.

Flowers

Just like in Maastricht, we have proudly taken on the responsibility of providing the floral arrangements at the fair. Along the staircases and in the beautiful courtyards, the same enchanting iron frames with glass tubes filled with flowers, as we did last year, grace the space. But this year, we’ve opted for vibrant hot pink gloriosa and peonies. This selection is sure to create a breathtaking effect and captivate the visitors. Furthermore, the aisles are adorned with a mix of different flowers, lisianthus, viburnum, and, of course, tulips from Dutch soil. This year, we’ve also decided to install some flower walls. With a base of ruscus, the walls are embellished with hundreds of peonies, lisianthuses, and gloriosas.

Preparing

Preparing for TEFAF NY is a challenging task that, compared to TEFAF Maastricht, requires considerably less time. Sometimes, we have only a few weeks to get everything ready. Fortunately, most materials can remain in our own warehouse in New York. The flowers are specially flown in from the Netherlands and arrive already cleaned, making them quicker and easier to process. The non-living decoration materials are transported by boat, ensuring everything can be in place on time.
